HEALTH

Living conditions are very challenging for the families in the remote villages of Baluchistan. Poor water quality, harsh weather, fragile homes with mold, fungal, bacterial and viral growth in their roofs, have lead to many severe health issues in children, adults and elderly such as cancer, poisonous bites from snakes or scorpions, skin diseases, rheumatism and more.

Health care services are not available locally and in case of emergencies, the villagers are left suffering with no help.

We have helped to bring sick children and adults to a hospital in Tehran, a 28 hour car drive, and support their treatment.

Flour is their main staple that they use for making bread. The harsh weather conditions and lack of water has lead to a lot of destruction of crops and this in turn has resulted in  nutritional deficiencies in the Baluchi villagers and health conditions.

We take supplements containing iron, magnesium, calcium and other vitamins and minerals from doctors in Tehran to the villagers to support their health.
